Meet the Performers

Jennifer Lory-Moran

Jennifer Lory-Moran is the advisor for the Cornell University Chimes program in Ithaca, New York. She has played the 21-bell chime there since 1993.  She studies carillon through the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen, Belgium, and takes lessons over Skype using an electronic carillon practice keyboard in her living room. She grew up in Randolph and is delighted to be returning to Morristown to celebrate this centennial anniversary.

Joseph Min

A recent graduate of the Royal Carillon School, Joseph Min now attends the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP) and occasionally plays the carillon at the Riverside Church, as well as being a member of the Riverside Ringers handbell group. His work in acoustics and design will hopefully further both architecture and carillon culture. In the past, he has performed on both piano and carillon for a variety of events including Singing Bronze in Chicago the inauguration of the University of Chicago President in 2021.

Paul Stelben

Paul Stelben is a music teacher and freelance carillonist based in Philadelphia, PA. Paul grew up in Connecticut studying piano and bassoon, and at Yale, he studied carillon with Ellen Dickinson. Now, he works as the Arts Program Coordinator for the ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania public charter school network in Philadelphia, teaching high school music/videography and organizing after school arts programs including elementary choir, middle school musical theater, and high school modern band. Paul passed his carillonneur exam to join the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America in 2019, and he has published numerous arrangements of carillon music through ArrangeMe. He has performed carillon concerts in New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Midwest, and he continues to play regularly in the Philadelphia area. Paul also enjoys jamming with friends, playing Frisbee, and exploring the world on foot.

Lynnli Wang

Based in New York City, Lynnli Wang is a performer, teacher, and fierce diversity and inclusion arts advocate. She currently plays at Riverside Church, which houses a 74-bell carillon, weighing 100+ tons. In recognition of her dedication to making carillon accessible and exciting to performers, listeners, and composers alike, Lynnli was recently awarded the one of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 awards. St. Peter’s holds a special place in her heart since she grew up in northern NJ, and loves coming back to visit her parents and the beautiful carillon bells in Morristown.
